We are a team of crack
convention photographers that photograph conferences all around the USA. Often conventions
that go around the country to 3-8 cities annually, have us follow them and photograph in each city because
they get such great, reliable results.
Sometimes corporate meeting planners go with a smaller, local photographer - thinking they will save money or get better service. They are wrong, and here's why: the problem with using a Portland
photographer is their small-time mindset as Portland is not anywhere
close to the top 10 cities for having a convention in.
Your smaller city event photographers are not used to having to deliver up to professional and national standards, and as a result you the client suffers.
In contrast,
- Our photography gear is state-of-the-art. Can other's say all camera bodies they use came out in the past 6 months.
- Every photographer is hand-picked elite team with over 10 years experience doing conventions.
- We are optimized with the high-end lenses for great details in low-light conditions.
- We are super fast at delivering your images - and that is even with
checking every single photo for crop, color balance, composition,
sharpness, vibrancy, etc. No one anywhere can say that because they
simply have not done enough volume of work (nearly a 1000 photos
processed each day) to have the results guaranteed to be top notch.
- All our photos are shot in "camera RAW", meaning we have much more
flexibility to pull off a great photo for you out of terrible photo
conditions. (the handshake that turned into the hug; the most passionate
moments of your keynote address, the instant a new business connection
is made at a breakout session, etc.) No other convention photographers
we know bother to do this because it is a lot more work for them (3x
larger file sizes, 4x the processing time and uploading, etc.) But
because quality is KING, I have personally developed systems to deal
with the much heavier workflow that RAW requires, and not sacrifice
delivery time.
A lot of these advantages are things I don't mention
often, or tout as much as I really should, because the client does not see or know about them. My clients simply
get great results. Here are my favorite cities I often work in providing convention photography:
• Dallas Convention Photographers
•
Las Vegas Convention Photographers
• San Diego Convention Photographers
• Houston Convention Photographers
• Orlando Convention Photographers
• Atlanta Convention Photographers
A complete list can be found here: http://www.bestconventionphotographers.com/Corporate_Event_Photography/Corporate_Event_Photography.html
And after those cities, I'd include:
• Austin Convention Photographers
• Irving Convention Photographers
• Fort Worth Convention Photographers
• Chicago Convention Photographers
• Seattle and Portland Convention Photographers
• Tennessee Convention Photographers
• Denver Convention Photographers
• San Francisco Convention Photographers
• Oklahoma Convention Photographers
Convention photography in Dallas, for example, and other cities, is one of those kinds of services you only
really appreciate after the fact - after the experience. Two restaurants may seem to offer similar menus on paper but one actually
tastes much better with better waitstaff. Good convention photography is like that.
I understand it is
hard to judge in advance which event photographer delivers
better shadow detail, who keeps the
bright
stage lights from blowing out and who gets
more accurate color switching
back and forth between the on-stage lighting and the audience lighting.
When your convention photography is perfect, it feels effortless to you as the client; and clients like
yourself only see something as wrong when a different photographer did
not do his job right.
Setting yourself up for regret because you went with the cheapest price-tag means you will never
appreciate
how good that same moment could have been in the right hands -- as you are stuck with what you get. I can honestly say is that,
"I deliver the hardest-working convention photography results that are both marketing savvy and
technically astute while being a consummate professional at the event.
That stems from my passion for my client's success."
I have
personally witnessed a dozen other "professional" event photographers
and am always shocked at how many corners they cut, hoping their client
won't ever notice. Either they hired me to assist them at their event or
I was performing video only services while they had the photo contract.
My results do take more work after the event, but whether the client
sees when a photo is too muddy or too yellow (for example), I can and I
do take pride in knowing my clients get superior results, that in their
hands seem effortless. For some reason I enjoy very much knowing I made
my point of contact look like a hero to his boss and I love it when they
get to take all the credit.
If you have read this far, then you must value a job done right. I hope you will
consider us when your event's image is important and you want photos
that are great for your public relations and promotional use.
